Tell us what you sell,
and who buys it in Japan.
We reply within two business days, in English. If we are not the right partner for your situation, we will say so on the first call rather than after a proposal.
Is there anything worth reading first?
Two pages answer most of what people ask us before the first call.

FAQFrequently asked questions
Language, response time, and what the first call covers.
Q. Can we contact you in English?
Yes. Enquiries, scoping calls, proposals, contracts and monthly reporting are all handled in English. The delivery work that faces the Japanese market is produced in Japanese by our team in Tokyo.
Q. How quickly will you reply?
Within two business days. Our office is closed on weekends and Japanese public holidays, so an enquiry sent on Friday evening JST will usually be answered on Tuesday.
Q. What should we include in the first message?
What you sell, who you believe buys it in Japan, what already exists in Japanese (even if the answer is nothing), and whether you have a Japanese entity or team. That is enough for us to tell you on the first call whether we are the right fit — including when the answer is no.
Q. What happens on the first call?
A 60-minute conversation in English. We ask about the four points above, describe which of our services applies and which does not, and agree what would need to be scoped. Nothing is committed on that call. A written scope and estimate follow.
Q. Is there a free assessment like the one on the Japanese site?
The free AEO assessment is currently offered in Japanese only, because the report and the follow-up session are produced in Japanese. If your Japan team reads Japanese you are welcome to use it. Otherwise, raise it on the first call and we will tell you what the equivalent scoped work would cost.
